As you may already know, this past March I was unexpectedly diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer. My life has had many ups and downs since then. Radiation, Chemotherapy, Surgeries and much more have taken over my life. Fighting for my life became the urgent need and Life Right Action hit an untimely hiatus. Having just received an encouraging medical report, I am back to focusing on the important work of Life Right Action. (More about my story here on Caring Bridge.)
Despite this diagnosis, my passion for life-affirming work has never faded. Because of this, our expanded mission and legislative agenda, it became so urgent that we add an additional staff member. We didn’t have to look very far to find the perfect person. Jenny Condon comes on-board with a very strong background and portfolio. She is exactly who we need as our Chief Operating Officer (COO} and she is already hard at work. Click here to learn more about Jenny.
Over the coming weeks, we will be alerting you to several of our priorities. These are related to our mission statement and our 2020 Legislative agenda. Like us, you will be excited about all that we’ve already accomplished and all that is yet to be done!
