Pro-Life Leaders to be Inducted into Iowa Women’s Hall of Fame
West Des Moines, Iowa—August 25, 2017—Tomorrow marks yet another historic day for Iowa! Governor Kimberly Reynolds and U.S. Senator Joni Ernst will be inducted into the Iowa Women's Hall of Fame.
Governor Reynolds, Iowa’s first woman Governor, and U.S. Senator Ernst, the first female U.S. Senator from Iowa, have lengthy and impressive lists of qualifications and have earned such a prestigious honor.
However, some refuse to acknowledge their hard-earned achievements.
“Iowa’s largest abortion chain, Planned Parenthood of the Heartland, is joining in a protest at this event,” acknowledged Jenifer Bowen, Founder and President of Life Right Action.
“Planned Parenthood, with 9 remaining clinics in Iowa, continues to fail to grasp that 93 out of 99 Iowa counties voted against the pro-abortion presidential candidate in November 2016.”
“Governor Reynolds and Senator Ernst represent the overwhelming majority of Iowans who believe that all human lives, born and unborn, are precious and must be protected.”
“Life Right Action is proud to stand with Iowa’s strong, passionately pro-life leaders, Governor Reynolds and Senator Ernst as they are inducted into the Iowa Women’s Hall of Fame,” concluded Bowen.
The Iowa Women’s Hall of Fame Ceremony is free and open to the public. It will take place Saturday, August 26, at 9:30am in the Staplin Performing Arts Center, Valley High School, 3650 Woodland Avenue, West Des Moines, Iowa.
